Overview
Cedars-Sinai Cancer Multidisciplinary Tumor Board is a biweekly series that allows participants to explore a wide range of diagnoses and clinical scenarios with the goal of improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients using appropriate standards and highlighting complex cases, research, education, and comprehensive quality care.

Objectives
  1. Analyze NCCN guidelines and develop strategies to care for patients with malignancies
  2. Examine the barriers to patient participation to increase clinical trial accruals
  3. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, dieticians, and other health professionals to identify best course of treatment

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cedars-Sinai is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.


American Medical Association (AMA)
Cedars-Sinai designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Participation credit will be provided to other health care professionals via your CME Portal transcript. Participants should ensure in advance that their credentialing or licensing organization accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
 

Maintenance of Certification
