2024 Epilepsy Case Conference - 11/22/2024

Epilepsy Case Conference is a monthly series that will update clinicians on the various types of medical management, including non-pharmacological management, for patients with epilepsy. Ultimately, the goal is for physicians to refer patients earlier for epilepsy workup and/or epilepsy surgery and to order varied testing to localize seizures using Ictal SPECT, MEG, etc.

Objective(s): 1 Discuss the different treatment options available for different seizure types and the importance of early referral for further treatment 2 Improve early diagnosis of seizures in young children, adolescents and adults
