Overview
Cardiovascular Intervention Center M&M Conference is a bi-monthly series in which learners will critically review and evaluate selected cases using departmental quality indicators; standardize procedural approach to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications in patients with cardiovascular diseases; and discuss new transcatheter treatment options & indications. Open only to Cedars-Sinai health care professionals.

Objectives
  1. Diagnose and intervene with STEMI and NSTEM cases as early as possible
  2. Analyze disease pathology and treatment options using evidence based data, nationally accepted AHAACC indication guidelines and current clinical trial data to optimize patient outcomes
  3. Reduce common catheterization laboratory patient complications using new techniques and technologies
  4. Critically review and evaluate selected cases using departmental quality indicators
  5. Increase collaboration amongst the heart health care team (Operators, MD's, Nurses) to discuss selected cases to highlight learning opportunities in complex cases or complications in the structural heart program to provide coordinated, highquality, patientcentered care.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cedars-Sinai is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

AMA Credit Designation Statement
Cedars-Sinai designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Non-Physician AMA Attendance
