Overview
The 2025 Cedars Sinai Hand Symposium will cover major controversial topics in hand surgery and therapy. Topics will include complex injuries to the fingers, hand, and wrist. The latest techniques will be presented followed by debate style case discussions and the sharing of tips and tricks by expert surgeons and therapists.

Objectives
  1. Analyze and evaluate approaches to challenging cases to enhance understanding of recommended treatment and management strategies
  2. Recognize the challenges posed by significant hand conditions and apply strategies to mitigate complications and adverse outcomes
  3. Identify problems in the hand and upper extremity where there exists significant controversy in terms of treatment and debate the latest treatment methods
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of expert techniques used to treat challenging hand and upper extremity conditions
  5. Analyze complex hand surgery cases collaboratively with the healthcare team and create comprehensive treatment plans that integrate diverse expertise to optimize patient outcomes across the continuum of care

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cedars-Sinai is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

AMA Credit Designation Statement
Cedars-Sinai designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Non-Physician AMA Attendance
Attendance credit will be provided to other healthcare professionals upon the fulfillment of attendance requirements. Participants should ensure in advance that their credentialing or licensing organization accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  

AAPA Credit for Physician Assistants: Cedars-Sinai has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 6.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
