Overview
This tumor board will provide a channel where patient cases are reviewed with cancer-specific oncologists and the multidisciplinary interprofessional team to make sure that an optimal plan is formulated for each and every patient, based on their own individual needs.

Objectives
  1. Improve the healthcare team's understanding of the diagnosis, staging, and workup for head and neck cancers
  2. Examine current guidelines and controversies for multidisciplinary head and neck treatment
  3. Articulate management options for head and neck cancer patients in a curative vs palliative setting
  4. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, dieticians, and other health professionals to identify best course of treatment

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Cedars-Sinai is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.


American Medical Association (AMA)
Cedars-Sinai designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Participation credit will be provided to other health care professionals via your CME Portal transcript. Participants should ensure in advance that their credentialing or licensing organization accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
