Overview
The 19th Annual Symposium on Current Concepts in Spinal Disorders focuses on treatment methodology, controversies in spine care management, and new and emerging technologies. The faculty is composed of internationally recognized experts who will present lectures focused on the business of spine care, the emergence of outpatient surgeries, updates in spinal tumors and malignancies and future innovations and technologies. Participants will also evaluate unusual cases and controversies in spine care and the management of deformities. Attendees will have ample opportunities to enjoy personal interactions with many of our country’s leading spine professionals and everyone is encouraged to join faculty for discussions and debates in all topic areas.


Objectives
  1. Discuss emerging issues encountered in spine surgery practices, including patient-reported outcome measurements (PROMs), telemedicine, and physician wellness
  2. Evaluate the controversies of outpatient spine surgery amidst the rise of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and the implications for patient safety
  3. Demonstrate knowledge and skills for performing basic and complex corrections for adult spinal deformities
  4. Integrate techniques for posterior-only and anterior-lateral deformity corrections
  5. Employ best practices and techniques to avoid complications in spinal deformity surgery
  6. Explore unusual cases and controversies and the shared recommendations and insights that can potentially influence improvements in case
