24th Annual Educational Meeting in Gastroenterology

The 24th Annual Cedars-Sinai Educational Meeting in Gastroenterology is a unique continuing medical education activity designed to provide attendees with relevant information regarding new developments in gastroenterology and new approaches to the management of gastrointestinal diseases. A group of national experts will present new findings and guidelines in a clinical context that will be useful in your gastroenterology practice. This two-day virtual activity is intended for gastroenterologists and all other healthcare professionals who treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders. In addition to lecture format presentations, the course will include the following interactive virtual instructional formats: debate and panel discussions, Q&A sessions, case discussions, and interactive video presentations.

1. Discuss diagnostic approach of Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis
2. Discuss predicting natural course of Crohn's disease
3. Discuss current therapies in IBD
4. Discuss management and prevention of recurrence of Crohn’s disease after intestinal resection
5. Review nutritional assessment of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases
6. Discuss what to do with gastric metaplasia
7. Review approach to small bowel bleeding
8. Discuss updates in GI endoscopy imaging technology
9. Discuss updates of digital impact on the management of GI diseases
10. Discuss approach to duodenal adenomas
11. Review normothermic organ perfusion
12. Discuss the role of systemic therapy for HCC
13. Review practical management of MASH
14. Review diagnosis and management of acute on chronic liver failure
15. Discuss regenerative medicine in liver disease
16. Discuss updates in the workup of defecatory disorders
17. Review updates in the management of chronic constipation
18. Discuss updates in the management of fecal incontinence
19. Review defecatory disorders in patients with IBD
20. Review diagnosis and management of Barrett's esophagus
