Objectives
  1. Identify and apply the latest diagnostic tools and management strategies for early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer to improve patient outcomes.
  2. Differentiate the unique physiological and anatomical considerations in pediatric gastroenterology and implement tailored treatment strategies for pediatric patients.
  3. Evaluate and integrate the latest innovations in the treatment of GERD and Barrett’s esophagus to enhance patient care and reduce disease progression.
  4. Assess the effectiveness of bariatric endoscopy and other minimally invasive treatments for obesity and metabolic syndrome, and apply these techniques to appropriate patient populations.
  5. Implement recent advances in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma to optimize treatment outcomes and prolong patient survival.
  6. Integrate artificial intelligence technologies into clinical practice to enhance diagnostic accuracy and procedural outcomes in gastroenterology.
  7. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools like manometry to accurately diagnose and effectively treat gastrointestinal motility disorders.
  8. Apply the latest evidence-based strategies in the care of pediatric patients with IBD to improve disease management and quality of life.
  9. Analyze key findings from the 2024 DDW conference and incorporate them into clinical practice to stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
  10. Examine the impact of drug intoxication on donor selection and transplantation outcomes, and develop strategies to optimize donor utilization.
  11. Evaluate the challenges and considerations of luminal stenting in GI endoscopy or apply learnings from case studies to improve endoscopic decision-making and patient care.
  12. Develop safe and effective anesthesia strategies for GI endoscopy in patients using GLP-1 agonists, addressing potential challenges and impacts on patient care.
  13. Discuss current regulatory, accreditation, and legal opinions on patient transportation issues post-endoscopy procedures.
