Overview
Cardiac Noninvasive Echocardiography Case Conference is a weekly series that is designed to guide learners to utilize cardiac and vascular ultrasound for the comprehensive assessment and management of cardiovascular diseases including effects of systemic disease on the heart. Open only to Cedars-Sinai health care professionals.

Objectives
  1. The activity promotes active learning by engaging participants in the comparative analysis of the latest diagnostic and treatment options for heart disease. Through interactive discussions, participants actively apply their knowledge of various diagnostic tools (e.g., Echo Doppler, cardiac CT, MRI) and treatment strategies (e.g., medications, PCI, CABG, valve replacement) to realworld scenarios. This approach encourages critical thinking and decisionmaking, as participants assess the strengths, limitations, and suitability of different options based on patient needs. By staying updated with recent advancements and actively comparing approaches, learners deepen their understanding and enhance their clinical reasoning skills.
  2. The activity promotes active learning by engaging healthcare professionals in handson interpretation and decisionmaking using echocardiographic imaging. By focusing on optimizing Echo Doppler techniques for assessing valvular disease, participants actively apply their knowledge to real cases, interpreting imaging results, discussing reference limits, and considering the latest evidence. Collaborative teamwork encourages critical thinking and fosters interactive discussions on the best approaches to improve patient outcomes. This process enhances participants' problemsolving skills, reinforces clinical decisionmaking, and ensures continuous learning as they adapt to evolving imaging techniques and treatment strategies in realtime.
