Department of Pharmacy Grand Rounds is a monthly series that offers participants the opportunity to learn and discuss the most current approaches and research in a variety of disease states and professional topics with a consistent focus on prevention, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, advocacy, and operational challenges.

1. Assess the treatment and evidencebased options in the care of patient populations discussed in this series.
2. Summarize and use new tools and protocols discussed in this series.

In support of improving patient care, Cedars-Sinai is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

AMA Credit Designation Statement
Cedars-Sinai designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 0.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Non-Physician AMA Attendance
Attendance credit will be provided to other healthcare professionals upon the fulfillment of attendance requirements. Participants should ensure in advance that their credentialing or licensing organization accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
