Overview
The Neoadjuvant Approach to Oncology Conference is a multidisciplinary educational activity designed to examine the evolving role of neoadjuvant therapies across multiple cancer types. As advances in systemic treatments, biomarkers, and imaging continue to reshape oncology care, neoadjuvant strategies are increasingly used to improve surgical outcomes, assess treatment response, and personalize therapy.

Objectives
  1. Apply current evidence and guidelines to select appropriate patients for neoadjuvant therapy based on tumor biology, molecular and immune biomarkers, imaging findings, and patient specific factors
  2. Integrate novel systemic therapies, including immunotherapy and targeted agents, into neoadjuvant treatment plans while appropriately managing treatmentrelated and immunemediated toxicities.
  3. Use AJCC or other appropriate staging in clinical practice, including appropriate prognostic indicators and evidence based national guidelines for treatment planning.
  4. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate neoadjuvant treatment delivery, optimize surgical timing, and ensure seamless transitions between phases of care.
