We are excited to announce the 2023 Annual Seminar for GI Nurses and Interdisciplinary Professionals, which will take place in person for 2023. This educational program provides an excellent opportunity for GI nursing practitioners to reconnect with colleagues and expand their professional networks. Distinguished experts from the field will offer diverse insights into pancreatic cancer care, IBS, ulcerative colitis, and radiation safety.

This conference will place a special focus on nursing knowledge, highlighting essential interventions in EUS, ERCP, luminal, and endoscopic bariatric procedures. We will explore the latest advancements in patient engagement through innovative techniques such as text messaging. The presented talks will cover pediatric and adult patient populations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of GI practices across different age groups.

1. Discuss advances in therapeutic, endoscopic treatments
2. Discuss nursing peer-review process to enhance financial stability in GI Lab
3. Discuss nursing leadership role during crisis management in GI Lab
4. Review recent advances in colorectal cancer screening guidelines
5. Review the importance of endoscopic techniques in pancreatic treatment advances
6. Discuss the role of disposable endoscopes in minimizing and controlling infections, particularly in patients who are at high-risk of developing infections
7. Assess endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool for managing patients with chronic liver diseases
8. Interpret the application of text messaging to improve patient engagement in bowel cleansing and clinical practice
9. Assess radiation risks associated with endoscopic procedures and safety measures to minimize risks to patients and endoscopy practitioners
10. Conclude the efficacy and safety of advanced therapies for active ulcerative colitis
11. Formulate nursing leadership strategies in promoting timely EGD for upper gastrointestinal bleeding to better patient outcomes
12. Select presentations at the 2023 Digestive Disease Week to support evidence-based practice enhancement
