The Utilizing Technology to Improve Outcomes in Rehabilitation conference will provide participants with the most recent developments in current and emerging technologies that can be integrated into the care plans for patients with rehabilitation needs, such as those with impairments in mobility, cognition, or function. An expert faculty has been assembled to cover this important topic, ranging from new technologies in diagnostics, acute rehabilitation, to community settings. Attendees will benefit from learning about the latest technologies and how appropriate utilization of technology can support a quicker recovery, encourage movement and exercise and lead to improvements in the lives of their rehabilitation patients.

1. Explore emerging and current technologies and their potential application in practice to support improvements in rehabilitation outcomes for patients
2. Evaluate the scientific evidence supporting the beneficial effects of identified technologies on motor, cognitive, functional, psychological recovery in stroke patients
3. Integrate and promote the use of mobile health technology or other forms of body sensors for patients with neurologic and neurodegenerative diseases
