Online false MM/DD/YYYY

Date & Location
Friday, October 29, 2021, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM PST, Online

Target Audience
Specialties - Cardiology, Family / General Medicine, Pediatrics

Overview
Heart failure in babies, and especially the premature infant is very different than in adults. We will review the characteristics of congestive heart failure in the infant due to congenital heart disease, examine the most useful clinical approaches of care, and dive into treatment options.

Objectives
  1. Identify anatomy and physiology of congenital heart lesions that commonly cause CHF in newborns
  2. Identify the most useful clinical signs symptoms, diagnostic tests and therapeutics related to CHF in this unique age group
  3. Identify medical, surgical and interventional strategies for treatment of CHF in neonates

Registration

Survey Registration Discount:
As the care of neonates and infants with congestive heart failure occurs in conjunction with neonatologist and pediatrician-directed management, we have created a clinical survey to receive input from our participants. If you are a physician who cares for these patients, or would just like to learn more, please complete this short survey to receive a code for registration discount. Non-physicians already receive the discounted rate.  Survey results will be shared and discussed during the sessions.

Physicians: $50 (refer to survey link above for registration discount opportunity)
Non-physicians: $25

Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing and refunds will be subject to an administrative charge. To view the policy, click here. Please e-mail cancellation request to [email protected]. If you do not receive confirmation of your cancellation via e-mail, please call (310) 423-5548.
